Jeff Gates has been serving as Mosinee’s City Administrator since August 2000. As the City Administrator Jeff is responsible for overseeing the day-to-day activities of the City and for providing staff support to the City Council and the other City Boards and Commissions.
Jeff is from the Northern Illinois area and graduated from Northern Illinois University with a Bachelor’s Degree in Public Administration. Although he is from Illinois, don’t worry, Jeff is a life-long Packer fan and a proud team shareholder.
Prior to coming to Mosinee, Jeff worked for municipalities in Minnesota, Colorado and Illinois. Jeff is also a member of St. Paul Church.
Jeff and his wife enjoy the family atmosphere that is evident within the Mosinee community and the abundant recreational and social activities that are exceptional for a city of this size.
