GiGi’s Playhouse was created to change the way the world views a Down syndrome diagnosis and send a global message of acceptance for all. Our local facility changes lives through consistent delivery of free educational, therapeutic, and career development programs for individuals with Down syndrome, their families, and the community. We are inclusive in that all diagnoses are welcomed! The very first Playhouse was created in 2022, to be an inspirational and dedicated place for families to celebrate their child and benefit from free, purposeful programs that unleash joy, confidence, and continuous improvement. GiGi’s Playhouse Wausau has been serving families throughout North Central Wisconsin since 2020. GiGi’s is 99% volunteer run, and all programming is provided by trained volunteers!
We will share with you our three uniques, how to get involved, and maybe if time allows have you participate in a fun activity that will have you experience what having Down syndrome is like.
